What Do We Do?

Albany County Rural Housing Alliance, inc. (ACRHA) offers a wide variety of grant and loan programs to assist low- to low-moderate income households in Rural Albany County with home repairs or the purchase of a first home. We offer online homebuyer education, with eHome and in person counseling.

ACRHA is also a HUD Approved Housing Counseling agency.

Counseling services are free of charge and available to anyone, regardless of location or income level. Please see www.hud.gov for additional information or to find a counselor in your area. In addition to counseling services and grant programs, ACRHA offers a homebuyer education course available online 24/7 through eHome America and Home Buyer Education seminar every six to eight weeks. The class provides an overview of the entire home buying process, from budgeting and credit to shopping for a home to the closing process.
